Spice Odysee's Sathish Kumar's curry van has been featured in national magazines.

We've had our van mentioned in the local Busselton-Dunsborough Mail again after we were featured in Gourmet Traveller Magazine and Qantas inflight magazine. Thank you to all for supporting a local family business. We may be noticed in high places but we're always true to our loyal customers.

Acclaim for Busselton curry van

by Jessica Jurewicz

To be featured in the iconic Gourmet Traveller Magazine would be a huge accomplishment deserving to be shared with all.

But for Spice Odysee chef and owner Sathish Kumar it was an achievement he did not even know about until his customers told him.

“I’ve always just been very lucky to see customers coming to the truck through word of mouth,” he said.

He has since been sent a copy of the article as well as a copy of an article in which the truck was mentioned in a Qantas in-flight magazine, which was also a surprise.

The article titled West Life mentions Spice Odysee which it said was in a “different league” and “serves excellent curries”.

Mr Kumar said he found the mentions very interesting and was always happy to meet new customers from around Australia and the world.
